NAZI METAL BAND LEAD IS A PORTLAND TRUCKER

In December 2022 Kyle Powell of KEP Productions hosted a show at an undisclosed location somewhere  in the Inland Empire. The show was standard issue for Powell: a bill lined with his usual assortment of Nazi bands. One name did stand out as a new addition to his roster- Ulvehiet, whose name is a Norwegian word meaning “the wolf’s den” which is likely a poorly translated reference to one of Hitler’s bunkers.

At that time not much information could be found about the band aside from a few posts on an Instagram page. That changed this year when Taylor S Cameron, 24 of Portland, Oregon, the sole member of Ulvheit as well as neo-Nazi projects “Kunt Kream” “Ruby Ridge” and “Swine Prophet” released a split with Kushfrost, a band that LCRW has cover before.

Much like his peers, Cameron’s lyrical content is rife with antisemitism and racism in general. One Ulvehiet song is about a fringe and mostly abandoned Orthodox bris practice called “Metzitzah B’Peh” that Nazis love to talk about because it feeds their ‘Jews are pedophiles’ narrative. This trend continues into the other “bands” he is part of. One Ruby Ridge (RR) song has lyrics that read “I am proud of my white skin forged of hyperborean flame/the 14 words that were spoken ignited the souls of every white man they hold close to home.” Another RR song ends with the 14 words, a common neo-Nazi slogan that goes “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.” It was coined by neo-Nazi terrorist David Lane.

One aspect about Cameron that set him apart from the rest of Powell’s regulars and put us on his trail was his claim to be a follower of the “Northwest Imperative”(NWI)-a white supremacist ideology championed by Nazi author Harold Covington. The NWI seeks to carve out a white ethno-state in the Pacific Northwest, a long ways away from the Inland Empire and much closer to the North Portland suburb Cameron calls home.

Cameron, a licensed truck driver, graduated from the California Truck Driving Academy and started work for U.S. Auto Force in SE Portland in March of 2024.

According to both Cameron’s LinkedIn and sources close to him, he lived in and attended school in Southern California, living the majority of his life in Long Beach. It was there that he picked  up his affiliation with the National Socialist Black Metal (NSBM) scene prior to moving north to Portland as an adult.

LCRW was able to geolocate a photo posted by Cameron, placing him in the area of the December 2022 show in time to play it.

Sources close to Cameron, who all asked to remain anonymous out of fear of retaliation, said that he only started down his path of hate in the last several years. Those individuals also stated that around 2015 Cameron was very open to the concept of queerness, going as far as starting a music project with an LGBTQ+ person at the time. That music project only ended when Cameron decided to add “Aryan” to one of their songs titles in early 2017.

Sources also told LCRW that Cameron is hardly a musician, having only ever taken a few years of bass lessons, which is shown in his LinkedIn profile amongst other high school-level achievements. Sources familiar with his musical abilities said “that all he could bring to the table were vocals.”

LCRW was also leaked a screen-cap showing a public apology that Cameron had made after his neo-Nazi leanings were discovered by those in his social circle. Cameron, according to sources LCRW spoke to, is impressionable. The account Cameron used to make his apology wasn’t under his own name—he used a friend’s last name as his ID, sources told LCRW. Sources formerly close to Cameron also stated that it was common for Cameron to adopt both the features and ideologies of his friends and those he was close to.

Cameron’s personal Instagram account is under the user name  “@Statisk”- This also appears to have been a nick-name for Cameron. A source gave LCRW a screenshot apparently from a French metal magazine referring to Cameron as “Statisk” but we were unable to find the magazine’s name.

Cameron’s personal Instagram page.

On Reddit, Cameron uses the account  WarxEnjoyer. He promotes his own music on Reddit and also begs for friends and people to play music with. He also has numerous posts highlighting his antisocial behavior. When someone said “Let city council know how you feel about the day time homeless ban,” on the r/PortlandOR forum, he replied “Based, kick em all out.” In a post on r/Portland titled “stop running red lights,” he simply replied “no.”

Despite Twitter under Elon Musk welcoming open white nationalists like Nick Fuentes, Cameron caught a ban early in 2024, though it is unclear what for.

Cameron also has multiple SoundCloud profiles as well, with names like “Boyzclub” and “Hooligan Black Kollective.” The ‘likes’ page for “Boyzclub” include songs like “Yiddish [F-slur] Crucifiction” by a band whose name is a reference to child molestation. The “hooligan” reference Cameron uses is to Nazi skinhead culture. In photos, he dresses up as one.

He also claimed to be in bands False Ghost and Impurist. Both bands have never listed him as a member on any social media or music credit. Both bands were active when Cameron claimed to have been a “freelance graphic designer” as well as having claimed to be from Alaska and Washington.

Just like on Facebook” Cameron tells a ton of lies on Reddit. One particularly glaring claim was to have played shows with Dawn Ray’d, an antifascist black metal group from Liverpool who split up in 2023.

“Good riddance,” he wrote on an r/BlackMetal post about their breakup, adding “my band has played with them a few times and they’ve been some of the worst people imaginable to play with.”

He also claims to be a member of the “Western Front Disciples Underground” which is a Black Metal “collective” from Oregon that consists of four bands- Ulvehiet, Ruby Ridge, Pool of Siloam, and Lycan Sodomy. Three of these bands consist either solely of Cameron or is a two piece including him. The last features a person who has worked with Cameron on several of his neo-Nazi projects and goes by the name “Chernyshiva.” This person, according to their Metal Archives page, owns and operates a venue in Clackamas called “The Trap House.”

At this time it is unclear if Cameron has any upcoming shows. Despite what he says online, as he rarely appears to be able to keep people around long enough to book a show.
